Today was a travel day for Colleen but is blog worthy for what happened after she arrived in Boston at 8:30.
Having had a quarter pounder halfway between lunch and dinner but feeling like she should have some sort of evening sustenance, Colleen, of course, suggested ice cream at Friendly's. Jon and Colleen stopped at the Natick Collection, started going through the Sears to get to the center of mall ... and were stopped by a guy behind a counter who said in a foreboding voice, "The mall is closed." They explained they were just going through the store to get to the interior of the mall and were again told: "The mall is closed." Turns out the little sign outside the door that was OPEN indicated the mall closes at 9 p.m. Monday-Saturdays (6:30 p.m. on Sundays).
Somewhat deflated, Colleen and Jon went back out through the Sears and to a stand-alone Friendly's in Framingham. Peanut butter banana sundae. Yum.
