July 31, 2011

Today was a big day for the Dog Tour.

First, we had to go down to Homer for breakfast and to pick up Regan. Next, we headed to Uncle Bob and Aunt Brenda's lake house in Rushville, NY to visit our first dog on the Dog Tour, their dog Tanner.

After a tasty lunch, we headed out to the water for some swimming and kayaking.
Bob and Brenda say Tanner has never done this before: He hopped in the kayak with Bob already on board!

This is the life!
The water was a little too rough for Regan so she watched from afar
Now it's time for Jon to take the reins. Er, paddle.
Cousins! Tanner and Regan

After cupcakes, Jon and I called an audible and headed to an unscheduled stop on the tour: visiting Regan's dog parents, a few miles away in Rushville.

Next we headed to Fairport to have dinner with Aunt Betsy and her new collie puppy Collico (CC).

Don't get used to looking down, Regan!

Your heads won't always be this size!

After dinner and homemade strawberry shortcake ala mode (yum!), Jon and I headed for our final destination today and our base through Tuesday - Aunt Kiki's house in Erie with cat Bud and Sheltie Darby. Regan ditched us and spent the night with him! -- POSTED BY COLLEEN
